It's been a long road....
- The big smile in the photo belongs to Henry. Henry has a rare genetic disorder called Leukodystrophy, a disease that affects the brains white matter, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. For this reason, it is crucial for Henry to have 24/7 support in every aspect of his life. Because Henry requires so much support in his day to day life, it is essential that he has an outlet to be independent, have responsibilities that give a sense of purpose and bring joy to his life. And so, the creation of Henden Ryse began. The journey started with the addition of three miniature cows and the family has only grown from there. The family now consists of:
- Two miniature Dexter cows
- Two Shetland ponies
- Two donkeys
- Three horses
- Two Alpacas
- Six sheep
- Two goats
- Chickens
- Gavin the doxipoo and Jasper the Collie
